CARES INSTRUCTIONS
As every natural stone, slate has a lot of good points but needs some simple care, such as:
  • Cleaning with non-aggressive detergents (absolutely no acid products).
  • Polishing with normal marble wax; we can provide specific products to enhance the black colour (useful even in case of light spots), and special treatments (sealers) for bathrooms and kitchens (water and oilproof). For honed slate, we suggest a special treatment to prevent scratches.
LAYING INSTRUCTIONS
Very Important: slate must be cleaned during the laying (about every 5/6 tiles layed down), because as for every natural stone dry spots at the end of the procedure are very difficult to remove (especially from natural cleft surfaces).
